White beeswax is a natural substance produced by worker bees inside beehives. The history of beeswax dates back to ancient times, when it was already used to make candles, medicines and cosmetics.

White beeswax has numerous beneficial properties for the skin, such as its moisturising and protective capacity. Additionally, it is rich in vitamin A, making it an excellent ingredient for combating skin aging.

In the cosmetic industry, white beeswax is used in the production of creams, lip balms, lotions, ointments, and other skin care products. It is also used in the manufacture of scented candles and in food preservation.

To obtain white beeswax, beehive honeycombs must be collected and melted at high temperatures. Then, the wax is filtered and purified for subsequent use.

The INCI of white beeswax is "Cera Alba". Its CAS number is 8012-89-3. The main components of beeswax are fatty acid esters and hydrocarbons.
