Apricot vegetable oil is extracted from the seeds of the fruit of the Prunus armeniaca tree, native to Central Asia and China. It is a light, non-greasy oil that is quickly absorbed into the skin and is rich in oleic and linoleic acid and vitamins A and E.
This oil has moisturizing, regenerating and softening properties thanks to its high content of linoleic acid and vitamin E. The main components of apricot vegetable oil are oleic acid (65%), linoleic acid (25%) and vitamin E. It also contains palmitic acid, stearic acid and linolenic acid in smaller quantities.
