The hydrolate is the water used for the distillation of essential oils, it has a little essential oil from the distillation itself, water-soluble elements and trace elements. In no case is it water to which a little essential oil has been added (essential oil does not dissolve in water). It is appropriate for both dermatological, nutritional and hygienic use.
